About
Bethany Rounds is a conservation biologist graduating from University of Idaho with research experience, great work ethic and a passion for nature. Experienced with harsh conditions, long hours and hard work, she has extensive coursework with population dynamics, extensive plant and animal identification, conservation tactics, CPR and Wilderness First Aid and different styles of social dancing.

Screw Trap Tender
Operating two screw traps on the Salmon River, identifying native fish species and tagging Chinook and Steelhead.
Fisheries Technician
Electrofishing and gill-netting to remove non-native Brook Trout and revitalizing habitat for Bull Trout, doing micro invertebrate sampling and talking to public.
Head Irrigator
Montioring and irrigating over half a million seedlings every year, directing other employeed and giving tours of the research nursery.

Indepedently completed research
Bethany recently completed her independent research focusing on the morphological variations of garter snakes in the riparian habitats of the Frank Church River-of-No-Return Wilderness. This has been shortened to "Snakes on a Flood Plain".
